you will have to make custom mounts, custom shift linkage, make custom axles or hybrid axles, and most important make custom engine wiring harness.

would it be worth it? because ima build the motor from the ground up so i should be getting some pretty good numbers when its all done.

It depends of what you're refering to "worth it".

It all depends on the condition of the car it's going to be put into and the cost of the rebuild

Installing a B17 is the exact same procedure as a B16 or B18. You will find info. on that elsewhere on the board. "Worth it" is something only you can decide.

step 1. buy placeracing b-series mounts + axles + linkages
step 2. buy b17
step 3. buy conversion harness to modify
step 4. remove a20a3 (dear god i hope you're not running an a1)
step 5. install b17

or the even easier way
step 1. buy stevedx89's car
step 2. remove b16
step 3. install b17

sadly i do have a a20a1 and actualy i am debating doing a swap on the accord i might just make it a daliy driver and buy a chassis and just swap the motor into it. i know where there is a 90 acura integra that needs a motor so i might just do that. he only wants like 300 for the car and it will be alot cheaper to do because the wireing harness is there so i dont have to route anything for wireing just need to get splices. and since the early model integras have already b seires motors in them i can just put that motor in there and be done with it instead of haveing to have customs motor mounts and axles and harness.

the B17a1 is the same exact size and HP as the B16a only diffrence is the B17 has more torque. and the placeracing is anything but a drop in from what I read on the net the only mount that actually fits is the driver's side mount the rear doesn't fit without bending and tweeking , the passenger's side one has to be welded in .

i didnt even know honda made a b17a thats random. anyway if what u said about it having more torque than a b16 then b17 ftw. wd be a better swap for the accord than a b16
