did honda ever make manual passanger mirrors?

the accord im looking at has a manual drivers mirror and im wondering if i can get a matching passanger mirror for it, but im wondering if honda ever made a manual passanger mirror and on what cars it would be on. the only ones ive seen are the electric mirrors for the passanger side.

on my 84 Accord i had manual ones, my dad went to the JY when he got the car and picked up another one for the passenger side... so to answer your question, YES they did and YES they are out there, just go to the JY and check it out! :) Good Luck

not in 86-89 accord i dont think. Ive seen 86-87 dxs and they didnt even have pass side mirrors

yeah thay did when my step dad got his 87 DX (new) he paid 400 for the right mirror and it was manual

yes they made them. it was an option for dx models. they are rare as hell to find for coupes and hatches but if you have sedan you may as well give up looking.

I see manual mirrors everywhere here. 88-89 DX coupes had them. they were a standard OEM equipment on 89 DX cars so.....

is it simple enough to swap one from another car? (4g accord/civic/anything)

or is it possible to take an electric mirror and remove all the electronics to make it a manual?

my 86 hatch had manual mirrors,already sold them a while back,why don't you just get a set of mirrors from a junkyard and a switch and make them power? it's very easy,there are three wires from each mirror,they go to the switch,then the switch has a power and a ground. thats it. if you can wire a radio you can wire these. just run the three wires through the same rubber tubing that the radio speaker wires go through.

im wanting to see if i can keep the manual mirrors for the plain fact of less stuff to go wrong. i would have loved to find an accord without a sunroof but thats hard to find, im not a fan of sunroofs because of they leak. (thankfully this one doesnt)

i love manual everything (other then brakes and sometimes even steering)
its less stuff to go wrong and easier to fix if it does go wrong.

Finding a Accord with out a roof is easy!

All LX-i Sedans came with sunroofs, Period.

All DX/LX Sedans didn't have sunroofs, also DX Hatches and Coupes, I think they were optional on All LX-i/SE-i Hatches and Coupes.

Factory sunroofs don't leak....the drain tubes get clogged. Aftermarket sunroofs put in without drains leak. Do a search here on clearing out the sunroof drains, it's no big deal, better in the back than the front.

and will 99-92 accord mirrors mount up to the 87's doors?

well it might of been a aftermarket sunroof...ours has glass that slides down and under the roof. and no the 92-99 accord mirror wont work....only 86-89 accord
