Cost me US$140, has 94,000 miles on the clock and actually goes really well. Pity, as it will never be driven again :P

It has all the wiring, brackets and switch for the 85/86 folding fog lights, but the fogs themselves are missing :(

lol

it's a pre-facelift so I don't think there is much on it that you guys would want. The corners are amber, no bumper pole or climate controls etc :(

Us north Americans would be interested in:

The Factory Spoiler, Tail Lights, Badges, Corner Lens if in good shape, things like that.

Spoiler ain't factory but the other stuff you mentioned is in good shape.

Oh and Off Topic, Did you get your keys yet?

I might be interested in some parts as long as your not like some of the other guys from NZ that want $100 plus shipping for corner lights.

So are you going to do a 5-speed swap on yours now? Or the B18 tranny doesn't mount up to the B20?

MessyHonda

nice.

snoopyloopy
03-10-2007, 09:40 PM
yes, b18a tranny mounts to b20a. that's what wohdog was running for the longest. and hey, are you willing to sell the long block. or at least ps + ac and their hardlines that connect to the pumps and the brackets.

lol just ask him to find you another parts car...lol

Yep Russiankid I'm gonna put that gearbox in my 3G. It has lower gear ratios than the B20A box so that's all good :D

I don't mind selling parts, but any ac parts may be needed to fix my ac and shipping would be a nightmare on the longblock. My plan was just to take the parts I need for the swap, and the fog light wiring/switch/brackets then just have some dismantlers yard come collect the rest.

I would want less than that for corners lol. Probably 30 + shipping or something.

yeah, i know shipping would be horrible. but if have money later on in the year and you still have it, i'll give you a shout and see if it'll be doable for a reasonable price.

Umm good question? I can ask at the local NZ Post store and see what they say. Anyway these corners are the old type and don't look as good as the facelift corners. Tail lights are nice though, I don't like the facelift ones :P

We might need that engine for closer examination here at the 3G bureau of investigation (3G.B.I) headquarters :squint:

Ok the rubber around the corners is brittle and falling apart and there is a small part missing in the plastic surround in the right tail light. The motor is a POS B18A with a measely 135HP. It weighs the same as a B20A so I think the best place for that is a junk yard.

I will have good corners for sale when I get myself a 87-89 grille and corners :P

find out how much shipping in the rear spoiler would be to 94509

It's not OEM i dunno what it's from. Cost would be $1 + shipping lol. But I think you could get something locally for less than the cost of shipping.

all you need is a big driveway, the tools to undo everything, some rope, a towbar and a mattress for the engine to land on :) and then roll the car over

i wish chch was a few hundred k's closer :P

Hmm Nice car. I would really like some parts out of this one :D

Like:
Fog light wiring and brackets (I have the folding fogs hehe :D )
Center console and E-Brake brackets
Horn button

I know you want to help me :)

Haha if it was, i'd come over at night and steal your climate controls :P

Carotman I need those fogs! :crying: Although to be honest I haven't even tried looking for some yet.

I might need the centre console for the 5 speed swap, but it kinda looks like I could use my existing console. E-Brake bracket and button I can help with.

Plans have changed since then, I'm gonna be using the transmission from the F1 instead. My friend will then put the EXL-S gearbox in the F1 and use the F1 as his daily driver
