88 teg lip

went to the jy yesterday to get some minor interior parts,
screw covers, that little rubber thing that keeps your rear view mirror from vibrating..........

as i was walking back from the rear of the lot, down one of the isles
there was an 88 integra with the lip on the front bumper.
damnit, i did not bring any real tools..just a screwdriver for the interior parts... i keep walking....another 88 integra with the front lip...

going back today or tomorrow to get both.

to make a long story short,
who wants the other lip ??????

both are in decent condition.
some scratches, nicks, scraping buildup along parts of the bottom.
you know, Used.

comes with the mounting hardware if they all come off....

the mounting harware that comes with the teg lip wont work for the accord. you have to drill all new holes on both the lip and bumper of your accord. also, get new bolts, washers, nuts and spacers. :D

well you can get the spacers from your hardware store, so yest they're standard nylon. depending on how low you want your lip, i'd say between .5 to .75" in length. anymore and the lip will look like its hanging.

make sure it's the right lip 1st lol.. i got an 88 lip and it didn't fit my 89 accord. I think monkey said the lip we need for 88-89 3geez is the 89 LS teg...

No, I have the 88/89 sedan bumper now!:welcome: See, the 87/88 style lip is about an inch too short! It still looks good from the front though!

Nope, it fits, just not perfect. It's not long enough for the sides.

il take pics of mine.....i used one inch spacer....if i would of lined it up a lil better it would of looked good. but right now im lowered so if i scrape it i wont be so pissed off.

my lip came out of a 89 ls i used one inch spacers and i like the way it looks

ill go to a few places today to find a box to put that in.

i jacked around with the the shipping (will be considered a large pagkage by the usps) and came up with a low of
