Just curious: If i removed my spare tire and jack from the trunk, would it make a noticible difference in the performance of my car?

nope, but you will notice that you don't have spare when you have flat tire.

hey now.

my car is stripped and i drive it everyday.
there is nothing inside but the drivers seat.
the cluster is balanced on the steering column and the harness is hanging from one of the dash hooks off the firewall.

ive thrown everything away but the seats and dash :D

i dont even have a girlie right now. but the hell if thats gonna stop me from finishing my car. soon as its done i'll find a clean teg or CRX for a daily driver. THEN i'll worry about the potential girlfriend.

I'm not sick, I feel perfectly fine! I took the spare out and bent the plastic thing under the carpet so I can have more trunk space under the CASKET SIZED Sub Box :LOL for performance you would rather want some essential weight in the trunk, you don't wanna go into a corner with a car that has more weight up front, and non in the back.

I know, never put more than a few gallons of fuel into your car. Gasoline is about 7-8 lbs/gallon. There, you just saved 70-100 lbs.

Just don't leave town.... :lol

i heard fix a flat f**ks up ur alignment..or somethign like that.....becuase the goo hardens like a crust in the tire and offsets the ballance. Even though it stops the leak it still isnt even, and isnt weighted equally on the other tire....i dunno..somthing like---hard trying to explin what the guy told me.

ALSO.....if u wanna save serious weight....to hell with real tires.....just go out and buy 3 more 'donut' spares.....throw all 4 of em on. that way ull alwas have 4 spares (hahaha) AND.....ull have smaller wheels...and therefore less weight to lug around.

Just dont go over 45 mph.

you could also do some push ups and situps and run 10 miles a day to shave off those extra pounds
