ok i am most likey geting another accord by the 1st of the month it is a 87 DX with SE-i interior and some other work done to it... but it is still a carb the good news is i have all the EF-i stuff in my car but the ? is how hard is it to swap over?

EDIT: OH and what parts would i need?

omgsearch. and i bet i know what car you're getting. it's that 87 hatch w/ the se-i interior and 2.25 catback, isn't it. i saw that on cl a few days ago.

if you have all the parts already in hand, expect at least 2 FULL days of work. If you have to remove the parts from the donor car, expect a week...

ok... what i am thinking of doing is... puting the EF-i in to the DX and puting the Carb on to the LX-i then saleing the LX-i

good luck. bc to do efi-->carb, you need to make sure you reverse the entire carb-->efi conversion. you might as well make sure you have no need for both cars for at least a week. for you, give yourself 10 days at least. then you'll pretty much need to strip both of them down quite a bit and then reassemble them opposite how they came from the factory. and damnit, buy a haynes manual if you don't already have one. you'll need it.

ok new plan is to buy Forrest89SEi's car(when he gets another one)
then strip both down swap my engine in (after all engine gaskets replaced) swap everything needed EF-i and then put the LX back together and park the LX-i on my grandmas lot
