Allow me to introduce myself. I have been driving Accords for 28 years. Well ok there was a time when I briefly "Dodged" away from the world of Honda Accords for a couple of years. I have owned a 1977 Accord hatchback, a 1982 Accord LX hatchback and currently have a 1989 Accord LXI 4dr Sedan that I purchased new in 1989.
I have plans to make a few changes to the car this year. I have already changed wheels and tires. I plan to add a Xenon body kit this summer. I am going with the Xenon kit, simply because it was the mildest body kit I could find. I suppose that I am now commited to doing the body kit due to the fact that it arrived on my door step this morning. I suspect I will end up with car slightly lower than stock, maybe an 1" or 1.5".
Performance enhancements will be made as I need to do tune-ups etc. The problem with waiting until something needs to be fixed before doing an upgrade is that these cars are very reliable, at least when they have only 85000+ miles on them, that you don't get to make many changes.
The interior of the car needs almost nothing done to it. No rips or tears or much wear showing. Only a little bit of sun fading on the top of the rear seat and back deck.
I currently have a few pics of the car in my 3geez garage. I also have a few pics of my older accords there for now. I will add more pics and updates as time and work on the car progresses.
I may be newbie here but not new to our beloved accords.
