Now i really cannot wait for the paint to go on. When are you planning on painting it?

next quarter,we ran out of time this one, towards the middle of april. I'm going to wet sand it during quarter break. looks wierd with out the spoiler and everything on it. got to paint the underside of the hood first,then the door jambs, then the black under the trim line,and the two black areas on the roof where the decals will go,(this is for creating black lettering on a white car. ) then the white

lol did you take the gascap door off so you could save that sticker or to actually paint inside?to paint around the edges of the door opening,they are so close together I was afraid the primer would collect in the seams. also painted the gas door too.

just an update,started wet sanding the hood today hoping to spray it monday. will be sprayed apart from the rest of the car. here is the spraying sequence: hood both sides and hood scoop,then black under the trim and spoiler, rear trim piece under taillights,rest of car and door frames
i am using 3m dry guide coat for the wet sanding guide coat.

after you put your primer on you rub this on your primer,it gets into the orange peel surface of the primer and is waterproof. when you wet sand,you sand until the black disappears,then you have a perfect surface. this removes all the guess work out of wet sanding and shows even the smallest imperfection. i will try and take some pictures this weekend when we do some more
