well, well..... i havent really posted here in a while. as some of you guys now, i had lost the accord a while back to the cops. I have since gotten me a 90 integra LS. it came with exhaust. i added an intake and AFPR, and advanced the timing a bit.

anyways, I want to know what you guys think of what i want to do within the next month. Heres my list of what I have planned:

-modded/hacked GSX-R ITBs
-Delta 272 cams regrind
-GSR exhaust mani
-tunned w/ TurboEdit

I am hoping not to stay under $1000. Let me know what else i could do, best bang for the buck ;)

PS- theres a block being built so stay tunned.........:rice:

Your hoping not to stay under 1k or to stay under 1k? How do you plan to tune? I thought 90-91 integras ar obd0 and 92-93 are obd1?

What he said ^. Those mods listed alone should put you close to, if not over, 1000 if you don't do your own work.

well i do all my own work. and yes it is obd-0, TurboEdit is for obd-0 cars. and i hope to stay under $1K

i just want to know how you guys think this setup would work.

sounds like it'd be pretty nice. especially with the itb setup and none of the foolishness from cali's smog laws to deal with.

i'm going to venture and say no, not right out the box since our cars are not obd-0, just partial obd-0. or so i've heard...

yeah, i've been thinking that more and more myself. if i keep the 3g much longer, i'll go obd-1 for sure. first on the a20 if i don't get my b20a in before then. but i've also been considering selling it lately so idk...

yeah, i'll ask him. i have a similar plan as him to turbo it. i'm not afraid of breaking it and i'm also going to rebuild it with stronger internals. but i think i'm going to throw away money in my dsm for at least a few weeks. looks like a headgasket job will do the trick of getting it up and running again. driving in boost > driving na.

you cant use turboedit on 3rd gens, they are "pre obd0" and so far no one has found out how to chip the ecus and you still have the vac advace crap.....

Good luck with the ITB project below $1k. Lots of at-home work.

Sounds fun. I love DA's. My second favorite car (second to 3g accord)..

The problem with itb's are that they are hard to tune. By that i mean you need to pay some good money to get them tuned my someone that does it well. If you are going to ultimatly use Turboedit you might want to make sure if it will work with itb's.is skimmed website and didnt see anything about that. For the money you spend on getting the GSX-R ITBs and having them modded unless you are going to do it yourself you might aswell just get some oem cast pistons. i think youll see more of a benifit from that.
