well i just went out and i started it and let it idle for a while with the 4th generation map sensor and it was actually worked like normal but the check engine light was still on and then i killed it and startedf it right back and then it was back to the crappy idle and shitty running but then went back to normal and right when it went back to normal idel and running the check engine light came on.

two things:
1. it is probably not wired properly or
2. the sensor is dead.

you won't see big gains. you just going to waist fuel with 4G SENSOR.
just keep the stock one.
