Congrats man! I love your car. Im glad that you stuck with the carb. Its good to see a carb'd car win from time to time. I mean, these cars are 80's cars.

Was the Weber worth it? Is it noticeable gains on the horsepower? How about the headers? If I installed the Weber with a nice set of Headers...what kind of power gain am I looking at? Noticeable?

venyix, the weber was on the car when I bought it and so were a set of old pacesetters. i replaced the headers with some new ceramic coated ones and that helped a lil from the old ones. the weber is also not running to full potential because the second barrel isn't opening, but when it does its a pretty sound and you can feel a nice gain in power. if you plan on keeping the car for a while, go for the new carb. You'll enjoy it.

Beautiful car...how did you find the swap from auto to the 5sp? I'm thinking about doing it myself (wish me luck)lol.

thanks guys. I found the swap when a guy at an auto parts offered me a parts car. I gave em 120 bucks and drove it home. Much easier than going to a junk yard because you can rip things out at your own pace.

Nice car dude, my only suggestion is to get a "normal" muffler and a nice tip rather than the canister muffler. Other than that though, clean ride!

thanks for the compliment, but the muffler stays. the car is actually up for sale though so the new owner can choose. sucks to get rid of it, but im falling for my new 5g
