View Full Version : can we convert drum to discs?

if we had the rear HUB from and SE-i could we just pull the hub off a set of drum brakes and put the SE-i one on and have rear discs?

my rear disc converison is on its way...just thought id ask cause i'll have the rear drums just laying around

If that was the case, you could just buy the rear hub and convert to disk with no problem. There is no place for the caliper to bolt onto on the drum hub. Check out the hubs you have.

yeah...when i did my conversion i was looking that it could bolt up to the hub but then the e-break would not work or the caliper. the bearings looked like they could be swapped because my uncle said if they made noise we could swap em out
