I used the tranny bolts, they work great. The engine has been on the stand for 3 months so far and they are holding up well.

Pull one from the junkyard or something. When i lost a tranny bolt i took one out and went to Lowe's and found one that matches perfectly.

3 of the bolts were 12 x 1.25 and about 3 to 3.5in in length.
1 was 5in in length with a nut since it does not thread into the block..
We're doing this by memory so make sure you bring a sample to match and check your lengths

wait...im confused

of the 5 holes in the block for the bell housing you only bolted 3 of them to the stand?

Three are threaded into the block and the 4th hole has no thread so you have to use a bolt and nut

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH ok i get what you are saying

did you have to use washers to get the bolts to fit right? if so how many?

ALSO did you TQ the bolts to the spec of the tranny to the block? if so what is the ft-lbs?

I used washers just on the arms on the eng. stand (1 each bolt) you can use washers if the bolts are too long but not too many IMO.
Just tighten the bolts regular you dont have to torque them down to specs
