I think you should graft a little more of the 1g Accord sedan rear end on there. The Accord is a bit rounder, and the Prelude is boxy. I think the Prelude rear end looks a bit funny.

Wow that somehow makes the Prelude look even more like the Benz SL.
& I agree the the original frt is just strange. What were they thinking?

Not that the car itself ever made much sense. Accord drivetrain, Civic based floorpan. Shorter wheelbase than Accord but longer overall. 10kg lighter -an Accord without the practicality or interior space.
But I must admit the chopped roof look does get me.

I want to change mine -what do people think -ask Prelude people & they've usually grown to like its looks.

If you did the second one in combination with some flush headlight housings, that could look pretty cool! You'd have to ditch the recessed sealed-beams though.

Well the Accord obviously came out looking like a slightly inflated Scirocco to start with -& more comfortable for it.
& I still find it surprising how similar the BMW E30 turned out to the Accord, if they'd offered a h/back version....

Still can't decide on the Prelude restyle. Think covered h/lights look more 'prelude' & probably would fit flush lenses if I left them exposed. Better finish sorting the rest of its body first though -I paid $150 for it.. probably better things to spend time on though.

The Prelude 1g is kinda ugly but its looks do grow on you (not like mould which would be nasty).

The Accord front end conversion would be really cool though! I'd change the door handles too as the Prelude ones look a bit crap.

Don't like any of the last photoshops TBH. Looks better standard than trying to mess about with whats already there.

I actually like it. I don't find anything wrong with it. Besides, the Honda Prelude was made based on the Honda Accord. It's a hybrid!!!:huh: :)
