I have decided about $600-$1000 of it will go into the car. Most likely it will be about $800.

Forged Pistons?
Turbo Manifold?
OBD-1 Conversion?
L_M's big brake upgrade?

any other suggestions?

keep in mind i will only be able to do ONE of these

if you plan on doing engine improvements for sure, i'd do l_m's brake upgrade

Give it to me.

Seriously though, I think the OBD-1 conversion is the best choice.

Put it in your bank account and keep it there so that it earns interest.

I was about to say that I'll be Old Man Stick-in-the-Mud and recommend you hang onto it for a while, or use it to reduce any high interest debt you might have - if you have any. With old cars like these you never know when you might have to spend money on something necessary just to keep it on the road.

If you are in good shape with all of that I would always recommend spending it on booze! :0

How much horsepower does that add?

how long are we leaving it there? get high enough interest and it can double pretty quickly, especially if he dumps more in. so that should be about 250 whp. :D

I would just upgrade the front brakes, and put the rest towards an OBD-1 swap for the turbo setup.
