i recommend the search engine ;) but what most people have and seem to like, and are easily available is tokico blues with H&R springs

tokicos you can get a whole set for $220 on ebay. Google for the springs they're like 150ish i think (i dunno i dont have em)

well im lazy right now and exhausted i just want to see what i should get for the drop and not a bouncy rough ride. so Tokico blues and H&R springs are good? any can back this?

It's not ideal, but yeah, it's a fine setup. h&r's are the softest lowering springs you can get, and yet the front tokicos still aren't quite stiff enough. It's fine, though.

yup i have the tokicos blues and the neuspeed springs that are almost identical to the H&Rs and the car handles good...not too bouncy...and it makes the car a whole lot fun to drive into corners.

i found some coilovers on ebay for like $50 including shipping heres a link to them. What you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-ACCORD-86-89-COILOVER-SPRINGS-87-88-DX-LX-LX-I-EX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33582QQihZ015QQitemZ 250103866864QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Stay away.

Even if they were decent, you can't a strut anywhere close to stiff enough (at least off the shelf). Plus, those are probably 450lb springs which won't provide the smoothest ride.

The neuspeed ones are your best bet. Same as h&r's.

Yeah, I pieced together some used tokicos for cheap on here back in the day, but it's probably better to buy new.

I know I sold some tokicos off my 240 that were good, and they blew like 2 months later on the new owner's car. It's just easier and cheaper to do it right the first time.
