I haven't really taken many pics of my car recently. None at all since I lowered it. Most people can't tell it was lowered, it was a pretty subtle drop. Oh also, I debadged the car. Looks much cleaner on the ass end.

Anyways, my camera is about shot... the light sensor doesn't work anymore, the shutter doesn't always open, and it sometimes won't focus. And when I was taking these pics, when I'd use the flash, smoke would come out of the camera. Lovely... Enjoy!

I can tell the suspension is lower going by what my 2g with 15" wheels looks like! Kinda looks a standard set up as if the car originally came with 15's.

I see the door frames & rear panel are black. Is this standard or what ? I contemplated doing mine like this on my first Accord years back, but as with many things I never got round to it.

Yeah I don't really understand the deal with the black window frames. I think it was what they did on the LX models here. I've seen a ton of them with body colored window frames, and I don't think they look as good. I think the black window borders look really good when you tint the car out. I've seen another LX in town that's stock with some nice wheels, but some tints. Looks spanktacular.

And that panel on the back... I don't think you guys even have a panel there. There is a big plastic piece between the taillights. It frames in the license plate, and holds the license plate lights on the side. With this plastic panel, your longer license plates won't fit. Plus, you have the license plate lights below the plate itself. I like it black like that though, with my tinted license plate cover, it cleans up the back end...

That thing is freaking titties mang! The drop is just subtle enough to make it look mean. At least meaner than the stock Accords in 84. Don't you have close to 300K on that engine? And no rust.

Did you plug the mount holes for the rear badges or did they just attach with double sided adhesive? I thought the emblems had two pegs that punched into some holes on the body. It does look really clean and smooth with the badges gone. And let me thank you for NOT putting a Type R or a Mercedes star emblem in place of the Honda and the Accord ones. Maybe when the weather FINALLY breaks here, I'll snap some exterior pics of my whip. I don't know if I posted pics with all my mods-- 15" mesh teggy rims, nice tint, painted mirrors both sides, painted bumpers, PINSTRIPE. My camera works, too!

Yeah, I'm at 288,000 now! My plan is to retire that engine around 300,000. I want it to at least hit that before it comes out or blows up.

We did plug the holes they had those little pegs that fit in there. It was WELDED of course and not filled with Bondo. Whats funny is, when I first got the car, and it had original paint and hubcaps and everything, I did have a "Type R" badge on it! It was mainly meant as a joke, but people didn't get it. I got yelled at a lot, lots of people trying to race me, shit like that. I think it was okay to have since the car was bone stock. But once I started doing upgrades, the "Type R" had to go. Actual upgrades make it look like I'm trying to be serious with the "Type R" stuff. Okay, so I count the rims as upgrades, but that was enough. :)

When I did the repaint a few years back, we shaved those badges so that I could put a 5th gen Accord emblem on the back. It's the 2-sided sticky kind. I thought it might make the car look a bit more modern, plus I completely dumped the "HONDA" badge on the left side. It didn't look too bad really.

But I finally decided to retire even that badge, peeled that fucker off about 2 months ago and it really cleaned up the ass end of the car.

Yeah I've seen your Cardomain with your sweet-ass hatch. Makes me jealous of the 2 door! We both appropriately chose the 15 inch Acura rims, because we know whats up. Those meshies look nice, and I love how you painted the bumpers on yours to upgrade to the LX trim. :) You should get some new pictures up soon though man!

Yeah, man that's how we do. Do you center caps still have the "A" or did you get some others? I got a set of CivicSi center caps so I wouldn't look like a poseur with the Acura rims on a Honda-- A Honda that existed before Acura was born! I'ma hit the interior hard this summer. Take the seats out of my $50 LX and get 'em hooked up better than the checkerboard pattern on there now. Plus, my driver side metal side support is not padded. I don't know WTF happened there, but it's not cool. Hard to see it, but it needs something. I haven't decided whether I will go with the "LV" Louis Vuitton upholstery or the House of Chanel interlocking "C", but my interior will be mad tite, y0! Seriously, I'ma go with the cloth panels on the interior (doors, rear sides) to replace the vinyl ones. Hopefully, get the power antenna setup. I'd like to get a lit passenger sun visor from a 4 door LX and a homelink for the driver sun visor. Your passenger sun visor has a little light, doesn't it? Decent stereo with FOUR speakers. Okay, thanks for letting me jack your thread.

288K and you haven't killed it yet. That thing is bulletproof. And I'm glad you didn't go with the body filler to plug your mount holes for the badges. Keep up the good work playa.

Yep, the passenger side has that mirror. I didn't get a chance to check out that LX at the junk yard last week. They were "closed until 1:00"... So I'm still going to head over there soon. I'll see if they've got the visor for ya and whatever parts I can score from the power antenna setup. I *think* it's an LX, but I'll have to double check. And what's this homelink you're speaking of for the drivers side visor?

I gotta get me some of those center caps too. I've had a hell of a time finding them. I think my only option is to pay $25.00 each and get a new OEM set...

My visor has the mirror, but I'm after the visor with the light that came in the 4 door LX's. Bling bling! If you get to the power antenna, remember I need AS MUCH wire as possible, especially both ends of any harnesses. A motor wouldn't do me any good unless I had each half of the junction harness. All good, but wanted to be sure you knew my car has ZERO wiring for a power antenna. The homelink is the 3 button setup on newer cars that allows to open your garage door by hitting one of the buttons. You can open gates and other crap, too. Honda puts their homelink in a thick ceiling console with lights on the newer whips, and that console is too thick for the 2G headliner/roof. Some manufacturers put the homelink controls on the sunvisor. How fresh would that be on a 2G? It's a really simple setup and it's not specific to any car maker, so a Chrysler homelink would work. Homelink came as an option on most cars starting about 1998 I imagine.

I got my Civic Si caps on ebay and they were around $50 for a nice set of 4. Accord and Odyssey caps look the same but are too big. You gotta go Si.
