got the brakes in

well i got the new rotors in but the pads they sent me didnt fit right car but i think the brakets were different so i put the old ones back on just wondering if this is ok the pads still have some life in them they are a little uneven though so they rub a little on the rotor just wondering if this will cause any issues

hmm well the pads are pretty close to the wear limit they are rubbing on the outer edge i have brembo blanks i just dont want them to warp

then i would go down and pay like 20 bucks for some chepos till they replace ur pads

well i would be careful not to warp pr damage them hell im not even worried about them warping if your pads are un evenly worn it might evenly ware the rotors

true i looked at them they are wearing i little at the top and a little at the bottom so it might just wear the rotors in a little different ill just baby them till the pads wear even or i get the replace ment ones they sent me the rigt year but there are no notchs on the top and bottom for where you slide them on the anti rattle springs

ya i did they just wouldnt sit right they were almost too long to fit in i even took out the rattle springs and they just wouldnt go in

ya i just wanted to get rid of those crapy warped rotors it brakes real smooth now they said they would send me another pair i just gotta send these back i got them from buybrakes.com they are pretty good they didnt give me any hassle

yeah that does not sound good. i replaced my pads and rotors at the same time.

they said itll take about three to 4 days to get here so heres to hopeing the rotors hold up lol

well drove it on the freeway they work good they are rubbing the tob and bottom of the rotor got home and felt around the brakes the rotors were hot but the calipers were warm i could touch them so i dont think they are hitting hard enough to do anything it has made marks on the rotor

in the morning rub your finger along the rotor if it feels uneven u messed them up lol

If you can tell what size rotor you have that dictates what pads we use. There is a smaller rotor and a large rotor for our cars depending on year and trim level. The smaller rotor takes a differant pad. The pads for these

always have the D409 number in them some where. its called the FMSI number.

I think the pads for the smaller brakes is D334

the rotors are 20 mm smaller. Its commonly called 9 inch brakes or 10 inch brakes (11 inch for the Type R ) even though the conversions dont come out that way.
