2 door and 4 door model door handles interchangeable??.............

hey,will 4 door model front outer door handles work on a 2 door model LX-I?
i wanst sure...
both mine are screwed!! can you freakin believer they BOTH Went within 2 days or eachother?
thank god for ouR rear seats laying down! I had to crawl in the trunk to get in the DAMN car....

i would think so becasue they look identical, but i know the locking mechanisms are different from the coupe to the sedan

No, they are not the same. The sedan handles are shorter than the coupe and hatch. I believe you can make the coupe and hatch handles fit the sedan, but not the other way around.

Looks like the outer front door handles of the 2, 3, and 4 doors are the same part number. The lock rods are not the same. Keep in mind that DX trimmed door handles will be black and textured, LX and LX-i handles will have smooth/paintable finishes. Try for the factory painted kind for your car.
