no.. it is the rubber seal..

I flipped the card lid today, and it helped alittle, but not enough.. lol...I have to give 'er a good ol tune up next..

I thought about the weber carb, and doin some exhaust and a mild/wild cam.. high compression 10-11 to 1...

I am not sure.. still have time.. lol
