Nice car in Junkyard

Well i was in the junkyard earlier just looking around to see if i see anything i wanted. I spot this beautiful 88 LX-i sedan, the paint on it look brand new. I pop the hood and its one of the cleanest engine bays i ever seen. It was blue with the blue interior, and the interior doesnt even look like anyone was ever in it. The windows have tint on them so theres no fade marks at all inside, it even has all of the original paperwork in plastic bags in the glovebox. I pop the trunk and found an original bra that probably came with the car and it had new ngk wires on it, of course i got both of those. It looks like someone hit the fender/door, its not bad but i guess the people didnt want to fix it. I wish i could get this car and spend the $200 to fix it, you can tell an old person owned it and that it was garage kept. Well thats it for my rant about a beautiful car in the junkyard.

I didnt look at mud flaps, ill go back soon though. Did the accords come with a bra as an option? I think this might be one if they did. The box looks really old but the bra itself looks new, and it also came with a baby blue colored drawstring bag that says accord on it. I wonder if i should keep it or try and sell it. Heres a pic:

if it just got there they should have the title.

they usually dont ask for more than 200 dollars. if you really want theyll sell it and you can pay em to tow it to your house.

Well i went back to try and buy it and they said they dont sell any of their cars, ill try and call in a day or two and see if i can talk to someone different. As far as the bra goes its not like the one you posted a pic of exactly, this one actually goes over the bumper also and has the cut outs for the bumper lights as well as the corner light, the one in the pic you posted is kinda like half of what this is. See, now i have to go put it on the car and take a pic when i get in tomorrow, lol. I would do it now but its dark.

I talked to the owner and he said he wont sell it but i can give him $200 and take anything except the motor and trans. I think i know someone who knows the owner though so im going to see if he can get the car for me.

Man that's sad. Such a clean car to be in the wrecking yard, while others are trying to drive cars that actually should be retired and junked. With very little TLC, that could be a very clean stocker DD. Mine was like that until the heater hose blew and took out my perfect running A20A1. Damn heater hose.

Get as much of that car as you can, it's worth it!!!!

hmm i thought it the oem one said accord on it like the blue bag.. :dunno: whatever though not bad.. i'd leave the light covers off though :)

once the weather stays warm i'll probably put my covercraft one on too.. though i think i might just go with the hood part not the full thing since it the lower piece requires a lot of velcro lol

oh, btw. i have an oem bra. one that says accord. :D it was practically brand new, and in the original box.
