i know this is most likely going to be NO, but i finished porting and polishing on head but i took the original one that was working off and is porting the intake manifold to fit the other head. but while its off i desided to do a bit of sanding and polishing to the ports and clean the head just for the hell. to get to the point is it possible to reuse the head gasket? i just put it on their 3-5 if that months ago. thier was no gasket pieces stuck to the head or block.

I wouldn't. It is not worth the price of a new one to take the head off again if it leaks.

id say its safe to use it again if its still in good condition even though its recommended to always get a new one..

FUCK NO. A head gasket is cheap. Get a new head gasket. It's been crushed and will not be formed to seal properly anymore. NO NO absolutely no.

yeah dude. get a honda or felpro one. they are like 40 bucks. plus you dont want to take off the head again if you spring a leak. they are like condoms....one time use only...HEHE

Not unless it is copper or MLS, but ours are composite so it must be replaced every time the head is off. Never reuse a composite headgasket

Get a Felpro head gasket there the best by miles and are teflon coated so they don't stick to the block or head and don't suffer so bad from the iron adn alluminium fighting against each other when they heat up adn cool down. Apparantly they are reuseable if taken of carefully and not damaged but for the sake of $40-50 dollars it's not worth the risk only if it's a get me out of jail type scenario should you ever consider re using. oh and get a flepro one just so you don't forget!! (used them all and blown them all except felpro!)
