stock console center speaker

right i know theres a thread around somewhere but i cant find it but you know that silly center console mounted speaker..what does it do??

-a center speaker
-a sub woofer
-useless thing that shouldnt be there

im interested cause i might see about hookin it up if it helps in my other accord....

Perhaps It is the little speaker that alarms you when you left your lights on, or when your door is ajar?

It's a woofer.

It's because there are like factory 4" speakers in the doors, this is used to create the bass. I actually had a working one way back when these cars were only a decade old.

you not the only one i biffed 3 of them 2. nah im nt gunna use it cause my car came stock with 6.5"'s in the door

it has no speaker in it cause it was stuffed... theres a built in amp inside it 2

No a18a man you got it all wrong, it doesnt make sound cause i took the speaker out of it and hiffed it USED TO make sound...get your facts straight boy......
