Okay so i currently have a efi motor in my 89 lxi with 246,000, and i have a 87 carbed motor with 90,000 that im going to swap in. so i was wondering if some one could tell me if i forget anything that i would need to switch from the efi to carbd, camshaft, distributer, intake, header, so is there anything else i need to switch?
Thanks

what part on the EFI motor is broken, you just use the Carb Block and Cylinder head and take everything off the EFI motor and put it on the Carb motor...

one part on the Cylinder head needs to be swapped and that is the cam bearring which has two bolts on it to hold the EFi Distributor.
Thermostat housing has to be the EFI one.

alright well the reason im swaping is because im have problems with the efi running right a\nd i dont wanna keep dumping money into it when i have a perfect running motor to swap in that has less than half the miles and it doesnt leak oil and i dont really have the time to rebuild the efi.
thanks for the quick replys

alright well instead of explaining it all, i just want to swap that motor in to there, so i know i will need to switch intake man, exhaust man, cam, cam bearing. is there anything else im missing.

you really dont...but then you wont get the performance out of it...i would just get a delta 272...for like 80 bucks
