tomorrow comes alpine v power 4 channel amp, and all the miscelanious wiring shit i need, then hopefully by the beginning of next week i can actually have a real audio system. Right now my audioo system consists of a 2.1 logitech computer speaker system plugged into a power inverter plugged into my cigarette lighter pushing out a wopping 84 watts... and i know its not important, but after i took tthat pic i replaced the blue air breather with a red one, ooooo big change i know.

and im gonna fix that miscolored heat shield over top of the exaughst mani. And i did some touch ups today on the valve cover which would explain the splotchy coating on it, anyone know if it will smooth out with the old paint after time? i sure hope to god, i dont feel like painting it all over again....

do yall like the new setup better than the old one? if u dont too bad im not changing it back

lmao at that last pic!
I like the old intake better, but I'm glad that ya got rid of the blue on the valve cover. That color blue never looked right. Did you paint the heat shield? Props on the billet oil cap. I think that if you strip off all the paint on the valve cover, smooth it down, buff it, then repaint it should look NICE.

Ya i failed at painting the heatshield, the billet cap was a wopping 5$ (APC ftw...sometimes) and i just got all my wiring for my sound system along with an Alpine vpower 4 channel amp yay. The valve cover actaully looked better today, i dont have the ambition to paint it again anytime soon

yeah way better than the blue. I don't think the splotches will go away but it still looks good. Be careful to watch that air filter rubbing on the brake lines!

ive had several filters next to the break lines so far and ive been ok...so far. thanks for the warning tho, and if the splotches dont go away after i get this pain in the ass sound system installed im gonna repaint the valve cover, what do yall think bout the vlack intake tubing?

Thats my intake alterations timeline : )

I think my engine bay has had more cosmetic alterations than michael jackson

Yeah your engine sure has had a lot of makeovers lol. I like that black intake tubing. It's plastic right? I think that plastic would do a better job of keeping the air in the intake just a few degrees cooler. I have a 5.1 Logitech surround sound system at home and that sub can def put out a lot of bass, especially considering the fact that it 5 1/4". Does your breather not fit on the valve cover? I know that mine doesn't and so I haven't put it on yet.

ya my breather doesnt fit the fuel injector rail gets in the way, and the black intake tubing is actually metal.

Oh metal that's fine, you'll be more able to cut/drill/fix metal a lot easier than plastic. One easy way to make your bay look even better is to get colored vacuum hoses, they really add color to it.
