Cheapo $60 xds110 10 watt am/fm/cd player
phase linear 4 channel 240 watt amp
running 4 kenwoods forget model number now but there rated either 130W or 160W

and to round it out I have a cheapo $20 woofer box from pepboys which im thinking about cutting in half and stuffing under the front seats

and then putting twin 8s or 10s in the back and using the same amp to run all 8.

p.s. i already have tweeters on al the kenwoods but i have yet to make a clean install like some guys the tweeters in the doors

anyways aside from all that ill probley make my own input jack on the radio.

and i have a buzz thats driving me insane, noise filters dont remove it, p.s. i have the amp direct to the battery pos, and neg. so i dont know why whenever the engine running i have a buzzing and while driving i have a whine like a turbo, even with the noise filter installed.

thanks pics and videos will come later when i get to girls laptop.

I remember reading that the buz and whine is from having a bad ground. People say that connecting the ground to the rear strut tower is the best way to go.

yeah for the amp.....just get the ground by a bolt or something....also your power wires and RCA cables should not be together.

hmm have to check the power and rca cables thing, um i didnt use the rcas out the back because cheapo head unit only has 1 set of rca outs, and the amp doesnt allow u to use rca and speaker level input.

so i took the input from each speaker than ran it back to the spakers.
i know its retarded but i have the power wires under the left hand side of the carpet and the front left speaker is the only one next to the power lines.

hopefully that made some senses.
