Found these suckers BUT the issue is that they're for 88-89's and I have an 87. I was wondering if these would in fact fit my ride as well or will I have to stick with the niteshade (which is nice too)???

well what you could do is just paint the center lightes around the reverse square red. it would match everything else. its like the civic tail lights that are clear. the center ones are solid red aside from the clear reverse square. so all it takes is a 3 dollar can of cherry red translucent paint some clearcoat and those altezza lights and it would look pimpin

I bought those lights off of ebay like a dumbass, and the guy said before I bought them, they came with the center lights. Boy was he full of shit!!! I've tried e-mailing them to return them, but looks like i'm stuck with them. I dunno, I might just shave the center ones.....it might look good. Who has pics of the center lights shaved?

Its cool...Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But his car definately doesn't look like a 3gee in person. It looks way newer

doh.. he ruined it! lol jk :D

acutally I was looking again and I think the shaved tails have potential.. they might look better if the reverse lights were changed around and maybe the plate garnish a little more flowing with the trunklid

Hey bullard it looks good, but I think I would go with a set of round inner lights like off of a Lexus...but it does look good with the lights shaved......i'm gonna do it!!!

The inner 86-87 lights are really easy to do. I should have made a how -to when I was doing them. If you want one I can still do a write up on it

i think you have to swap full trunk lids but not positive, also need the difernt wireing harness

did the alt. rebuild.. wasnt hard.. just needed a soldering gun.. other then that i dont think the new brushes wore into the grooves of the shaft yet.. still acts a bit funny when taken off the battery but its getting better

edit: i posted in the wrong thread... sorry fellas... but i fixed my alternator... wasnt putting out good amps... brushes were gone

but for the original... seems good 3-10 but i have a problem.. i cant afford the plexi haha

thats odd, i would have thought it would already have park lights there, anyways i would just tap it into the number plate lights since its the closest lol :)

agreed... all the hatches ive seen are either lx or they have cancer.. ive only seen one clean 4d lxi/lx (to far to see badges) and it was a nice maroon color with a drop and rims.. wish there was more 3geez owners here in this crappy town... any 3geez owners around the LA/ Alhambra/ el monte area?
