My first hatch...just bought it for $50

Hey guys, I've always hald the regular 4 dorr 3gee, but today I just bought my first hatch...I don't know why I bought it though...it was more of an impulse buy. I dont really need it. I dunno what I'm gonna do with it but here some pics!

lol, congrats on the buy and $50 bucks for a car is a very good price. I hope you find the hatch more fun to drive than the four door.

thanks for the welcomes! I'm still deciding whether I should keep it right now. Underneath seems pretty rotten...and the shock towers are rusted out with some holes.

Welcome. Was that hatch repainted? I've never seen a black hatch with blue interior.

yea i think it was re sprayed....its all faded now though...I might part it out..I'm still deciding on what to do. I'm so used to fuel injected now though..my car used to be carbed but now its fuel injected

the 86/87 dx hatchback only had one color with a blue interior: Sonic Blue Metallic Clearcoat B-33MZ :)

good buy for $50.. though auto carb is pretty rough :(

Not bad for 50 bucks but sell it and make some profit. An auto carb 3g is slower than mollases.

thats a nice car for 50 bucks... i know people that buy cars for double that price and they just use it to rip around in the dirt and then later burn it...

just buy it just to blow it up.... but this car looks like waaaay better condition that majority of these cars that these people buy and burn...

Car doesnt look to be in too bad of shape. I bought a hatch for $50 and it had rust all over the place. Also, if you are ever going to junk it take that rear crossmember and manual rack off and sell it here on the board.

i just want the cluster for the speedo really, i think it would be more exciting to have KM's than MPH.

sorry guys....car's been sold. Some guy saw it and fell in love with it....paid 300 as is! And I'll try and find the spare cluster i have... its in km/h without the engine light, and some of the bulbs are dead. with 377 000km

My dad has one in his lot wen i went to go drop off my car for the exhaust it was sitting there...he said someone wants the engine and stuff to do a carb to efi swap and anything else i can get! Its a 2 door and I obviously took the cupholders and armrest once he's finished with it i'll take what i need then i'll post the rest on here....most likely im not taking the interior. I will post pics tomorow. I'm most likely taking the rear disk though for sure! Im so excited!

yeah yours is light since you dont have the fancy electronics. just imagine a b20 in your car....lol it would fly.
