View Full Version : 1986-1989 Honda Accord USDM HP, Torque, & Weight Specs

After reading my brochures I figured I post the official HP, Torque, & Weight Specs that Honda gave, but one thing that I don't understand is this:
Why is the 1989 Accord LX-i & SE-i's Motor rated @ 120HP when the 1988 is rated @ 122HP?

But heres the Specs :D

whats even weirder is 89 lx-i sedan is 122 hp but not coupe or hatch

STICKY material...also we will see if thoes hp numbers match.....when the NOR cal ppl hit the dyno.

those HP numbers are at the crank not the wheel.. and something tells me that it's a mistake and all LXi/Seis have the same HP

read the brochure spec sheets for 1988, 1989, 1989 SE-i

yeah i know. you just subtract the 15-20% of lost of power thru the drivetrain

if you also notice from 88 - 89 the LX-i hatch gained 200LBS, the sedan gained a couple, but the coupe gained nothing :dunno: . Oh and YEAH I have the third lightest 3gee :Owned: .
