Hello! I am wondering whether a C20AT from a K20A Honda Legend would fit into a 3rd Generation Accord? If it does, how much work am I looking at here? And btw, what is the millage one these engines? Issit advisable to use this unique & limited engines? I heard that the turbo versions are really rare..Please advice! TQ

Sweet.... how is the fuel consumption of these engines? Issit worst than the B20A? Its my daily ride to work and fuel consumption is a big thing. Actually i wondering whether any VTEC-E would fit?

You can put any engine into these Accords. All you need to do is make engine mounts, get axles made, make a shifter linkage, wiring harness so it works, and other misc things. It won't be cheap.

From what I can tell it' s the insight motor. I would never waist my time trying to get that thing it the car. Then you would need 8 batteries as well. As for the c20, you would make a lot more power by putting a c27a in the car and turboing that.

VTEC-E is a version of VTEC designed for economy. IIRC, there are no VTEC-E motors in the US. It's a lower-powered motors that switche cam profiles at low RPMs and somehow it helps with gas mileage. It's kinda like the K20A3's i-VTEC.

vtec-e is the engine you take out of a car, not the one you put in lol.

Forget the C20AT too, you would need to find one that's been very well looked after or you would end up with a lemon. Fuel consumption would be high, higher than a B20A. Is your car 5 speed or auto? Changing to a 5 speed will make the car faster and also make it better on gas.
