Thats pretty funny! I know it was a spoof, but wouldn't a 3gee beat a 2gee though?

He shifts like that because Honda did not change the engine position or the tranny from RHD and LHD, so the way we shift in LHD is reversed when driving a RHD. In other words, instead of pulling the shifter towards you for 1st, RHD you push it away from you like you would do it in LHD for 5th.

Ok no shit. That is why i said the way you shift in a LHD car is just reversed when driving a RHD. So in LHD you pull towards yourself for 2nd and 1st, in RHD(for 1st and second) you push like you would push for 5th and reverse in a LHD. I know it's the same, im just trying to explain it.

Jesus i know that i was talkin about the other guy that shifted gears by holding the bottom of the shift knob instead holding the shift knob like the other guy.

Oh that is just how some people prefer to shift from 3rd to 4th, since it is straight down.

Whenever I'm going fast thats the way that I shift. Just pull or push on the bottom of the stick, it takes a lil bit of time off while shifting, but nowhere near a short shifter.
