if the pix dont show up let me know and i will host them and re-post them

I e-mailed him about them and this is what he said;

Hi.
They were on my sister's 1989 Accord for 8,000 miles. Then she went with
full coilovers. They are about 3 years old, but have been in my garage for
the past 2 years. If you are still interested, please call me so we can set
up a time to look at them.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
Frank

Think I should do it? I am worried about the condition of the struts. They have been siting for 2 years + I don't know how hard the car was driven before they were pulled.

look good to me, dont see how them sitting for 2 years is a bad thing since stock ones have been sitting in our cars since last millennium =P but yet again im a noob when it comes to suspension

not bad for the price, unless the shocks are totally blown

and why would they go bad just sitting around?

go check em out and see if he'll take 100

not bad....should give you a firmer ride with near stock feel and the looks of 1.5 drop to boot.

go for it.

i would buy them for the springs...i just bought used 5k mile tokicos and the ride is a bit bouncy.....learned my leason...never buy used shocks.

go for it. looks like a decent deal, especially if the shocks are good. which they should be if they've been sitting.

I say get them also. I wonder what coilovers his sister went with?

It's sounds fishy to me. See what his lowest price is and go for it.

Plus, rule of thumb is, unless you know the person, don't buy used suspension.

maybe it seems fishy cause its a low price? :dunno: realize though that the shocks could be worthless

I say buy them, the springs themselves are worth it

x2 that the shocks could be worn.

If what you really want is the shocks and not the springs then save your money and buy new ones. On the other hand if what you want is the drop STOP WAITING AND BUY THEM ALREADY!

Thats about 1/3 of the price of that stuff brand new...

Call him up, meet him, whatever.... but I bet something is what it seems.

Hm. I have that exact set up and paid $400 for the springs and struts. Definitely well worth the investment. I don't know if I'd ever buy these used though.

springs should be ok tho....the shocks is what im worried about....if not you can always pick up a brand new set of tokicos for 200 bucks.
