#9 in that pic

these apparently fit all sorts of honda and acuras (including 3gees and 1g vigors which i what i want to use it for) so i would think perhaps someone made a poly version, but i do not see one :crying:

:welcome:

um..well if you go the ST route it comes with bushings for it..and this weird little assembly instead of alot of that stuff. I think i would look at 4g stuff, since it works with the vigor sway bar

yeah i know.. i would have got a ST bar but i thought vigor bars were bigger.. of course like a day after i order the vigor bar i find out they're the same size.. but ST comes with poly bushings and is bolt on w/ instructions vs vigor comes with used bushings and DIY. but i did save $60.. though after getting bushings it's not gonna be a huge savings

hmm i looked on those links pico but only saw rear sway bar "to-frame" bushings which are the ones that go in the middle of the bar and bolt to the frame (#8 in the pic). i dont think it was made in poly cause ive looked all over for it :\

ok as usual, ST makes them, but only in the correct sizes for their bars. The 90-97 accord bar (rear) is 21mm, and thats a good 2mm larger than our rear bars, comes with all bushings, etc. They should mount fairly similarly,, the only problem i see is the mid swaybar bushing...may not fit in our stock bracket. I could be totally wrong here, but that would be a problem if it was true. Someone should try this out.

oh btw, 90-97 accord bars havent been tested yet, its only a theory based on the fact that we can use vigor bars and so can 4th and 5th gen accords.

it has....when i went to go talk to openloop he told me some one that had a b20 hatch put a 4th gen bar into his car...but with custom endlinks.

im talking 4th gen aftermarket, but knowing that stock works is nice. ST bars come with their own endlinks, and all of ST's applications use the same endlink kit, just different bushings.

yeah st end link bushings won't help me out with the vigor bar since they have their own end links :sad2: oh well i'll just get the rubber kind.. i can get poly frame bushings at least :D

i know. im afraid your not going to be able to do anything about it. Try to contact ST about buying an 89 accord st rear end link kit and see if theyll send you just the endlink kit. Its a long shot since they probly wont want to split it up, but it will work since its the same diameter and everything.

the diameter isn't the problem.. the whole end of the bar is totally different lol.. st bars are flattened on the end and have a hole drilled, and the end link is sandwhiched between two bushings. oem bars have a short tube welded onto the end which the bushing im looking for goes inside of, then the end link goes on either side of the buhing, and are bolted together. (see diagram)

it looks like most honda from the 80s and 90s had the same exact bushings and similar end links but i guess nobody bothered to make performance bushings for the oem bars since each performance sway bar comes with their own proprietary end link setup.
