So I let my accord go after my then girlfriend signed over her 89 BMW 325iX to me.

After finding out that the Bimmer had numerous hidden problems, and the cost of said parts, I decided to sell it. I am in the process of doing that right now.
Don't get me wrong though, the bimmer is EXTREMELY fun to drive, 5 times as fast as my 3g (duh), and all wheel drive. Just too expensive to fix.
So.
After it transferring between two family members and the "great" state of Arizona, I finally got my 3g back, in somewhat worse shape than it left in.

I will post more pics of things like the inside later so that everyone can cringe :P. I'm also rebuilding my cardomain page. I have a ways to go just to get back to how she was, but I'll get there. And then the sky's the limit.

Yeah, on the outside its not too bad, just needs paint and I need to figure out why my headlights stopped going up and down...Oh, and my wheel well molding/trim things fell off..

Heh, I'm selling that BMW for so cheap that I needed to keep those basketweaves cause they are worth more than I'm selling the car for.

They sure do look neat though.

Just wait till you guys see it at a meet. It's nice looking in photos, but man is the paint Fuxed:banghead:. I need struts too...got the lowering springs 2 years ago and never put struts on it. Anyone know if the 2" lowered struts on shox.com are actually 190+ Each? or is that a set?

car looks good. You don't need that wheel well trim. If you want you can pull both them off and put some under body rubberized coating there to protect it.

I just noticed that your pinstripe on the side is lower than mine. Was that changed at some point or did it come like that from the factory.

Thats a good question, but all I can say is that it came that way when I bought it. As far as I know its original, because the owner before me should be the original, she just let her grand-daughter drive the car from what I could figure.

Dude, why sell the Bimmer for cheap? That IX is pretty rare, and if you have a 5spd, it is even more rare than the auto. You shouldn't let that car go for less than $4k. Watch Ebay, whats Craigslist, watch Bimmer forums, those cars pull some nice cash for their age. My friend has an 89 IX auto, and he wishes he had a 5 spds, but trashed shells are going for $3k plus. So if you sell this thing cheap(depending on your definition of cheap) your a fool. I would take that Bimmer over a 3g Accord any day.

Ok, 4k is insane for a car that needs 3k in repairs, not to mention its been in an accident that wasn't disclosed, its got all the markings of an 87 NOT an 89. Above all, I know how rare the car is. And I've had it up for sale for months now, starting at 2500 and gone down from there. Trust me, I'm no fool for letting a mess go for cheap. Not to mention I kept the only other part on that car thats worth anything other than the transfer case. But hey, I'll sell it to you for 3k if you really want it. :) Hell, here's the craigslist ad. Heh, don't be. The market for those is specific. Mine has low miles, but is in horrible shape, all the others out there look 10 times better cosmetically, and are 100% drivable from the get go. It's a shisty situation, but thats how it is unfortunately.
