yas people its that time of year again when i fork out lots of ££££££££££s to fix my car so it can be used 4 a few weeks and then be put back in a field till the next year! no kidding. if thats not dedication i dunno what is! any way along with paying just under gbp1000 (USD 2000) last year i was givven a advisory notice. one of the things said play in steering rack. BORDERLINE PASS. how serious is this? PS i need to kinda know b4 friday. to er think about stuff................... i think mive got a buyer/taker this year

wow that is indeed dedication

It is serious if there is a lot of play inside the rack. Most of the time the play will be inner or outer tie rods on either side though.
I wonder how much play is too much from one inspector to a different inspector.
You can try filling up the zerts with grease for the outers.

but how much? plus i have a bad feeling that dedication is gonna make me poorer by the end of the week anyway. sigh
