the line on the right goes into the intake manifold, the one on the left goes into something on 1 of those hoses, no idea what its for.. any ideas?

i still have yet to see where the wires go

Considering it is on the heater hoses it has to do with heat. Have no clue what but an idea.

I'd say it controls the heater core.

by closing it stops the coolant from flowing into the heater core :D

Well doesn't his car have the auto climate controls? If so i would assume it is automatically controlled by that vacuum diaphragm.
