I'm kinda confused well anyway the jdm b20 is not happening the place called me today and told me it was the prelude.....NO NO
anyway im checkin out the b16a, b18c and the H22a.....why is the b18 more than the h22a? when the h22a produce more HP?
anyway I emailed placeracing about their mounts but they never got back with me.........its been an week now!
I want an h22a but i can't find anyone to make mounts
I have a place to put it in but they need mounts........and after emailing people that have done the swap I don't think the b16a is worth it just stock........Damn I thought this was gonna easy like hooking up a INTAKE.....o well

well is th B20A comes from an 86-87 prelude it will work (they had the SAMe B20A we had)

The B18X costs more because of the demand for civics and stuff like that.

i don't think that anyone makes the mounts for the h22 into the 3rd gen but place racing. i think they're know for the odd ball kits. But we can still get the JDM B20s because Darryl has seen them with his own eyes so we know where to get them, since they ain't goin anywhere soon. I personally would go with the B20 over the B16a. we're acustomed to getting and making custom parts ourselves so its not really a problem. infact i'd rather stay with the A20 then go with a B16a. oh are u still gonna sell all ur parts?

yeah, did you ask him the year of the JDM motor from the prelude, it sounds like to me there is still hope to get that engine.

I thought the prelude B20 wouldn't fit in our cars without doing some cutting.

gen2 prelude motors bolt in, gen3s dont. The gen2 preludes got a b20a in japan and other parts of the world, its the same b20 that came in the gen3 accords in the places that were lucky enough to get them.

I talked to Mike last week and he has sold both the motor and turbo. I think both buyers got a GREAT deal.

HondaSi88...there are 2 different b18's...B18C1 and B18C5....they are 2 of the best engines honda produces...the B18C1 is safer to turbo with stock internals and there are kits available because the compression ratio is low from the factory...the B18C5 has more aftermarket support for non-aspirated items...like cams for instance...to turbo or supercharge the B18C5 the compression ratio will have to be dropped...meaning u will have to tear the engine down and put low compression pistons and rings in it

the H22A is a decent engine...can be built right with $$$$$$$$$ and lots of it
