oh, i anticipate some vaccume problems with the dual carbs and the other cam going in,this helps store vaccume for the brake booster,so your booster always has enough vaccume even if you have a lower then normal manifold vaccume. there was no where to mount it under the hood,so it's mounted behind my seat,no one can sit behind me anyway with the seat all the way back.

it should work good, people have been doing it for years,if you use it for your power brakes, you t it into the line then the check valve goes into the line before the t,in other words the vaccume input on the booster and the bottle are attached together. if you don't want to fabricate one,you can buy one ready made from summit racing,or jegs.

Doesn't the brake booster have to have a vacuum accumulator built in to it?

Doesn't the brake booster have to have a vacuum accumulator built in to it?it stores some, but not very much,i'm also going to use some vaccume actuators inside of the car,and this will also store vaccume for them when the car is off. some future projects.

The 2g's actually have a vacuum bottle located under the cowl, it's plumbed into the HVAC controls, I never knew it was there until I removed the cowl grille for painting. I'm sure I have a spare, you want it?

with the one i installed,i doubt i'll need another one, lol, but thanks. this one will probably hold enough vaccume for 5 cars.
