(kinda) Finished up my Wire tuck

I had a couple hours of sun today, so I decided to get my wire tuck finished up. I pulled my entire engine harness and modified it to fit a little better. I then moved all the passenger side wires to the inside of the fender. I will eventually remove all the wires from the bay, or at least hide all of them. The thing is I will have to move the fuse box into the cabin of the car, and I dont have the time for that right now.

Thanks, and I think I did that valve cover back in January. I plan on painting the valve cover with that wrinkle paint, then painting it the color of my car. I think I might paint the cam cover part black as well. Also I will be shaving all unused holes and the lettering.

i kinda like it with the metal exposed it matches everything else.. though if u paint it the color of your car that will look dope too i bet.

if you dont want to spend lots on custom paint you might try using Rustoleum dark bronze hammered finish.. the color is pretty close to your car's :)

I just looked that color up online, and that does look similar It might be a little to gold.

Thanks, and definitely I really want to see an A20 in one of these cars with a wire tuck. I think it would only do justice if you did an obd1 swap and vacuum removal :thumbup: . Also if you check out my first wire tuck thread (http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52544&highlight=wire+tuck) and how I did it, the job can be done in less then a day. Just a quick trip to the junkyard

When I get my engine rebuilt and get my DCOEs on, I'll probably do the tuck. I think it would look really good, even though I plan on keeping all of my accessories.

The problem is that Texas is so large, and the big cities are all spread out. Oh and LOL about my car showing up without me.

to paint the cover? not a whole lot of work.. just strip old paint, clean well, apply a few layers of hammered spray paint and sand off the letters and you're done :)

I think its a 5HR drive from Houston, if the traffic isn't bad. I think San Antonio and Houston are the biggest hubs of people.
