Ok as for today, here is where i am at. What is left to do is put them on, change out all brake lines, prop valve, and a few other misc things.

P.S: I know the rotors have finger prints on them, will be taken care of tomorrow. The scrapes and stuff is from me testing out if the E-brake works or not.

Heres the dam progress you ape....

So far i only finished one side completely. The right side is giving me some problems. No problems with removal but problems with the SE-i control arm. Two of the studs are damaged(threads) so im going to hammer out the ones from the drum brakes and use those since they are the same. I also have a problem with the drum brake control arm. A little metal piece from the bushing is stuck, i circled it in the pics.
BTW the drum brake e-brake cables are such a bitch to get out.

And the piece that is stuck:rant:

Forgot to mention i also have a sway bar, i never showed pics of it. Hehe...

 I ended up just cutting the e-brake cables on drum brakes :gun: . Make sure to put a lug on the end of the stud before you begin hammering, so you dont damage it. Oh and I dont think that piece is suppose to come out, I dont ever remember removing that.

Well the other side that piece came out with the bushing....i think:huh:. I will check that a bit later. I am waiting for my bro right now. Need some help im just tired. I also can't get my front left wheel off because that time i brought the car to the shop they fucked up the studs. Well i took that wheel off and it went back on fine but i guess they fucked up the lug nuts themselves so now this one wont come out. So when ever i get free time i will just replace all 4 studs. For right now i will just break it off.

And on the cable note, i was trying to follow the Haynes manual on removing the shoes for the drums but they had the hub off, so i was like fuck this and cut a spring and took it all out. Then just used a 12mm wrench to squeeze the clips in to get the cable out.

The worst part of this is that it took me about 4 hrs to finish one side. But when i went to do the other it took me 30 minutes to take it all apart and would take me another 30 to put it all together....lol

Yes indeed. I just took a look at the SE-i arm and that little metal thing is not there so it needs to come out of the other arm...need to think now how to get it out. Need to find a bolt that i can use to punch it out. The one that is used to attach the lower arm is to small it slides right through it.

Well the car is back together and running. Bleed the brakes twice, but seems to need some more. Can't tell a big difference yet because i only rolled down the driveway. I still need to torque the strut bushings down and bleed the brakes again tomorrow. Also need to put the interior pieces together but i am sooo tired i am just relaxing right now.

And the piece that is stuck:rant:

On my spindles, one has that dowel or whatever and the other doesn't. Is that part of the spindle? The place that I got them from really shafted me, missing a caliper, most of the lines, some brackets, a mud shield, and that dowel. I was able to get everything except the dowel and the left brake line bracket. Do the drum spindles also have that dowel?

Yes they do. That pic is on the drum spindle. If you want to get it out, get some needle nose pliers, and heat up the dowel with a torch. Came right out.It really is suppose to stay in the bushing, but i guess they sometimes come out.

Yea seems to be part of the bushing. I didn't replace mine so i just got that piece out of the drum spindle.

Update is that i drove it around and what a big difference. The pedal however feels a lot softer than it did with drums, not sure if thats normal. It does brake well and the harder you push on the pedal the harder it brakes.

Awesome dude, make sure your Ebrake cable is tight and that there are no bubbles in the brake line.

No air in the lines i made sure of that last night. I will bleed again to be positive. The cable, do you mean it needs to be tight at the adjuster nut? I left it a little loose. When i raise the arm to the first click it pulls the cables a little till they are tight.

The cable should be tight before you pull the lever. The adjuster nut is located under your center console. Basically your brakes will be a little more responsive the tighter you make the ebrake, because the brakes are partially engaged. Don't tighten it to much though because this will cause the brakes to actually start slowing the car down all the time.

I've thought about tightening the e-brake up, but I'm a bit concerned about the way the rear calipers are set up. If the e-brake mechanism is under tension, it would force the threaded plunger piece in the caliper to be partially extended (thus keeping piston extended), and the plunger piece has a pin that slides into the caliper body to prevent it from rotating. I'm afraid that the pin would not engage the caliper if the e-brake is tensioned up continuously and the plunger will spin. Shouldn't the rear calipers self adjust by using the threaded stud on the metal plunger?

Yeah you want em just tight enough to make the car hold w/the ebrake up like 3 clicks should do it ...

Nice upgrade btw!

P.S The rear disc brakes work great. Only real problem is something with the suspension. Somewhere a bushing or two are making pop sounds every know and then when braking. Not a loud pop but er....

Here's some pics when i took off the wheels to check if anything was lose. Everything seems to be fine, so i don't get what my problem is. As you can see by the rotors the calipers work. I did notice that i must have gotten a rock stuck in between the pad and rotor on one side theres a small scratch...:gun:
