24 Hours of Lemons Norcal Meet - July, 8 2007

2ndGenGuy was in Northern California to watch his buddy race in the '24 Hours of Lemons', a race where no car entered can be worth more than $500. We had a meet after the race and took some pics too. We even had the cops called on us cause we were drifting and doing fat burnouts.. lol nah but the cops did show up for some reason lol i think they were looking for someone else.

Anyways it was fun meeting all you guys.. I took a a lot of pics so it'll take me a while to go through them all but heres some of the best ones of the photoshoot so i'll post those first

yeah im trying to get out of the habit of tilting every shot. i have another one that i need to photoshop the corners on since i rotated it back to horizontal

maybe you should take panorama pics? or get a wide angle lens. then you won't have to tilt it to get everything to fit.

that pic is awsome though. with the hills in the background and the sunset and all it looks like something out of road&track. not that they would ever feature old-ass hondas...

Woah! I just got home... It's 4:59am and I had a crazy long 22 hour drive home. I left from Visalia, CA at 7:30am yesterday morning. I thought I'd drive back through San Francisco, and up Highway 1.

Man, that highway kicks ass! It was driving through some awesome twisties for hours on end. But I didn't realize that it was going to add 10 hours onto my trip. http://roadpwnage.com/forum/Smileys/default/shocked.gif Took 101, to 1, then back to 101 until I hit Crescent City. Then I cut back to I-5. Holy crap, I will only do that route again if I have 2 or 3 days!! I'm about to pass out from lack of sleep!

Anyways, those pics turned out really awesome! It was really great meeting all of you guys, and I had loads of fun! I never would have thought we'd find a spot so close to where we'd meet for great photos!

Also, StruggleBucket let me drive his car. Man that thing is crazy in the top end. I've never heard what those secondary runners sound like when they open up! It's like having some crazy VTAK. You can even feel the extra pull too. I was super impressed, and that suspension is set up so tight too! It was like driving a go-kart. So fun. :) Thanks man! My first real drive in a 3g.

No vids, but I've got a few pics to post as soon as I get them from my friend. We didn't actually go all that far. That road was right off of I-580. We went from town, to BFE in like 2 minutes. It was pretty cool, but not really video-worthy.
