This is a pretty stupid concern, but, when you lower a car, do you have to remove the splash gaurds? If so, what gaurds against splashes!?!? Mind boggling......

That would depend on the drop your gonna go with. I had a 1.5" drop and the splash guards were a none issue. But I pulled them off the car in the rear cause it looked much better without them. I didn't have much splashing onto the body with out them anyway's.

I took mine off because they look gay and family looking. Yeah they serve a purpose but why have them when they look dumb. My car was dropped enough too where im pretty sure they would rub on the pavement :).

Wait... I think I used the right word for the wrong thing..... What I meant to be talking about was not the little rubber things behind the wheel that hang down (splash gaurds i guess).

I actually meant the plastic thing thats inside the wheel well....

No, never. My car was dropped 4 inches on 18s and I didn't ever have a problem with them.
