...we're gathered here today because one of our own is no longer. these are the last known pix of her alive. a victim of cali smog laws and high cost of repair vs cost to replace. :violin:

but there can be rejoicing, for all is not lost. for a mere $300 (because the state gave me $1000 for retiring my "gross polluter," otherwise $1300), i have acquired this fair lady. (no, not a z...) quite a deal, actually, since she runs better/smoother, is 5-speed, interior is better, body is better, paint is better, etc. plenty of goodies coming her way from the other one and more stuff i never even got to install. including b20a, when i finally get it here. anyway, without further ado!

other one is already gone, but it was very much stripped. and pre-1976 cars don't have smog. it was a rolling 30 year smog law until about three years ago when arnold came in and then it fixed it as 1976 being the last year for the rolling law. so now, everything post 1976 will have to get smogged, no matter how old it is.

couldn't, because i have no where to store it and it also wasn't in that great condition. floor was pretty bad, and the seats had seen better days as well.
