nope didn't have any place else to put it,that clock is from a z car instrument cluster i took apart

does the altimeter work?

everything works,it sticks a little, the alternator battery switch lets me turn on the stereo without the key,the nav light switch turns on the parking lights in the turn signals, and the boost pump switch is wired for the walbro pump, after i put in the carbs. that clarion looksa little beat up now,but it's been one of the best most reliable rhead units i've ever owned. b

and cah the picture you quoted isn't the clock, thats an oil pressure gauge and a voltmeter. that took forever to recess in this dash too,i had to cut some hvac stuff back there and move it. the clock is next to the altimeter

i might have found my door seals from parts train, then i can fix the heater core leak again, and put in some new carpet sometime in the future. no point in putting in the carpet until the water leak is fixed. i'm thinking about going ahead and putting in the pedals this weekend. i've only been procrastinating for 4 years now. they have been sitting around collecting dust all that time.
