looking to spend top dollar to swap absolutely tits leather seats into my 88 LX accord (mainly the front two, but also looking for a rear option).

was going to grab either BMW M3/5 or Mercedes luxury seats, and fab up some aluminum rails down at the shop for the install...

thinking about heated, and electronic adjustment: would be pretty straightforward to install a switch panel for the seat electronics, either in the door or dash. a little time consuming, but worth it if i'm going to keep the car as a daily driver while i build my other 3 cars.

anybody done a luxury seat swap in a 3gee? is there a good fit from a particular car.... if not, will probably just measure out the dimensions and go to town...

why not try and see if the seats out of a Legend or a TL would fit

86-dx,89-lxi hybrid seats with own upholstery.:) if you get the acura seats, you can buy the seat heater kits from summit racing, also the adjustable phnumatic lumbar support kits. they retro fit to anything. i think both are made by electric life.

id say just grab some recaros or corbeaus. cant get much more expensive, but also cant get much more comfortable. and they have a whole bunch of seats that are straight leather and dont look like ricer seats.

yeah man either after market, or if you want that OEM look, I would go with RSX-S seats. they're comfy as all hell and they hold you in around corners too, but they'd prolly end up costing as much as some recaro's or bride's or something. it's really all up to your taste and what you wanna do.

good luck

i've seen them in 88 civics so i imagine through hacking up the sliders on it and fabbing up our sliders if possible. it shouldn't bee too hard if you have access to/know how to use a welder and a grinder. if you're going with those seats allow me to bee the first to congratulate you they are some sick seats and will look even sicker in a 3G.

you can fit almost anything with custom brackets. i would stay close to the original dimensions seats

I agree recaro seats are much better if you can afford.
Recaro made bracket for our car and I am using one but I am not sure if you can find new ones.
As far as I remember there are ones for coupe, hatch, sedan and they are slightly different from each other because of the way how to fix the seat belts, etc.
Even if not I am pretty sure the shop can modify or make up if they can cut&weld.
