some new projects, deceided to make a cold air box for the SU carbs, since i have the hood scoop might as well use it. this will be made from a z car air box, with a lot of extensive metal work. it will mount over the manifold, valve cover, then duct air back to the carbs. need to drill out the spot welds from the brackets on the air box,and fill the holes with weld, then i willl make new brackets closer to having everything on the car. i will probably hang the old air cleaners on my wall or something lol.

other project the fuel pick up for the new pump,i have to drill a hole in the top plate for the fuel pump hanger bracket, then the feed through mounts in there, and the pickup tube gets mounted along side the factory pckup. with a couple of check valves, the factory pump can be used as a backup pump. the walbro pump goes under the car in the optional factory underbody pump location,in front f the left rear tire. when i get the check valves,i will build a fuel distribution block,so both pumps feed into it. i think i'm going to go with a single underhood mount fuel filter like the one from summit racing. http://img101.mytextgraphics.com/photolava/2007/07/20/s4020005-477rajpke.jpg
