hey guys, is 10 gauge speaker wire good for subs?

uhhhh 150 watts each up to 250 watts each i'd say sure.. but whysettle for 10 would you could very cheaply get 8 or four for that matter. just do yourself and get 4 right off the bat and then you wont have to upgrade later.

Are you talking power wire or speaker? If your talking speaker 8 and 4 are way to big. I have a rockford fostgate 550s power amp and i used 14 guage speaker wire

I have 8 guage wire in 6 guage out to my 360W amp ...
that runs sweet...

He's talking about speaker wire... and 12 guage is the most that you will ever need.

How bout this... I initially had 10 gauge wire from the battery to the amp. All was well. Then I got some 4 gauge and noticed no real difference in the lower volume but the higher the volume the better the sound quality got. Imagination or not... I knows what I knows.
