Thanks to all who posted help to my question especially "DanG86lx" who took the time to walk me through some testing. I got tired of my cold starting problems and increasing irratic idling. So I went to the junk yard and come home with a different carb. Replaced it (easier to do than I thought) and the next morning , my cold start was no problem! I wish I would've changed it earlier. To all those who are hesitant to change their carbs...DO IT! Oh BTW before I installed the carb, it was turned upside down twice, held sideways once and did a 3/4 turn once and it still started on the first crank!
