ive heard that after about 200,000 its a good idea to do a ring job due to the cast iron block wearing down the rings. have you checked your compression?

That's what I was thinking :wtf: :lol: . I think you should probably do a tune up before you start modding the car. If you end up dropping money into it then you have a simple problem you cant figure out, and end up like the rest of the traitors "i dont want to mess with it anymore, so I'm selling for a civic" . Then you will be back, they all come back.

something around there and i got a cai and the engine has no probs...lol just a oil leak but thats getting taken care of soon.. but get a major tune up and go from there i would say...

rebuild if you can afford it, but idt it would be necessary unless your compression reading comes out real low.

mod your engine till it needs a rebuild, then rebuild it and use the mods you already have :dunno:
