Hey guys,

Well once everyone found out I own and run a small shop here in MI, everyone started telling me what they wanted to see made for the car. I dont do maching myself but I do have some contacts with big names and etc.

So what I am asking you guys to do is put together a list of realistically speaking parts you want to see made and what brand you would like them made by and I will see what I can do. (Interior, Exterior, Suspension, Motor, Internals , etc.)

Thanks!

it can definitely be done with the tubular type with a battery relocation.

Ok, I'm game. I'm not hating on the ac ps though. This isn't my daily driver. I will do a battery relocation if it comes to it. I want to mount it where the spare tire goes, with 2 wires go back to front just in case the battery goes dead, I can jump it. I have the speaker box bolted to a 3/4" board, so getting to the battery would suck.

yeah my 3g is my daily and the A/C is really critical since i hate hot weather. and it works really well too. but i do want to save for a turbo setup.

I would like to see some stiffer motor mounts, polyurethane bushings for the suspension, pulleys. Adapter plate and shaft to run a OBD1 distributor, like the one that is shown in the middle of the page here. http://www.dilysimotorsports.com/Products.htm#Distributor%20Adapter

I wouldn't do anything with turbo parts unless some form of fuel management was included with the kit.

I cant use a turbo manifold. Even still, if this is a group buy type thing, I kinda doubt there would be enough interest. The fact is, theres a small population of people who are going to be into it.

whoa back the im not interested in turbo horse bud...
the only reason more are not interested is because so much of the main hard parts has to be fabricated..
So yea, a turbo manifold I think would generate a good size group if you add PP folks too.
and Hanginbyaccord drop some names on us friend so we have an idea of who you could approach with this

I would have to say....

1. Turbo manifold
2. Bolt on OBD-1 Distributor
3. Full performance Valve train
4. Decent looking and reasonably priced strut bars.
5. 11" 4x100 rotors with the same offset as the 86-89 Legend (this ones kinda a pipe dream).

2drSE-i
08-07-2007, 08:51 AM

oh, realistically.

dc sports strut bar
dc sports short shifter
koni "reds" adjustable shocks
turbo manifold that keeps accessories intact + downpipe
rear lower tie bar (4g one fits, but needs a little modding. so maybe just a modded one of those)
obd-1 accessories
hid conversion kit
info on head accessories
info on bottom end accessories
cometic copper head gaskets (pretty handy if you're gonna be running some real boost...)
underdrive/lightened pulleys

that seems to be it for now...

I think money and effort has more to do with it than lack of ready made parts. Even if you have a manifold theres alot of stuff to buy, and work to do. I honestly just dont see all that many people getting into it.
Best of luck though.

Any company that is available to produce this item is more then welcome

How about... adaptor plates. =P

To bolt a 4g dizzy to a 3g head, plus a cam to dizzy key adaptor to take the space between the dizzy and cam, plus mount the rotor at the proper TDC. All with no cutting or welding! Direct bolt on!

Shouldn't be too much... A hunk of aluminum or two.

yup so what happened to this idea? why cant we make it a reality?!?!?!?!!

Because of if any one would build us a tubular mani w/turbo on top f.eks than we need at lest order 30 or 50 items, we dont have that many ppl who are willing to pay 500-600USD for it.
Remember what happened with Golden Eagle adj.CamGears? we made those, but was them sold? some ppl backed up in the last moment. This shit will happen again with the rest of the stuff if so.
Im not being negative about it, but its reality.
I say that we need:
* find a manufacturer
* talk to them, if they agree
* Vote here, how many willing to purchase
* Make a deposit shear from every one who want the part 1/2 price of item (so they dont back up from the deal and they show that they are serious)
* when quote if full then you order.
* gather the rest 1/2 price and ship items.

if I lived in the states we woudnt had this problem. I can be wary resourceful, I found a shop that is willing to make custom H22 mounts or B18, here in norway, but I know that its woudnt be cheap for you guys over there because of our prices and shipping costs and etc.

and the 2 and 3 cylinder on the A20 are close together, you would probably have to do something custom with the header to make it adapt.
